Bio
Since 1998, J.B. Lowe has produced illustrations for various publications, including the San Francisco Chronicle, Bento: Story Art Box, Chronogram and RollingStone.
In 2001, he co-founded Crackpot Illustration with six other individual artists. In 2006, he was entrusted by Periscope Cellars to create unique labels for each years vintage and is currently working on future labels. J.B.'s compelling images continue to take shape through developing his techniques through personal and collaborative projects.
J.B. Lowe was born and raised in the Bay Area. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with distinction from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 2000. Currently he resides in Oakland where Crackpot Illustration was formed.
